Is this worth the money for a business my size?

How to tell whether a site or a voice agent is worth it for your shop, using your own numbers, not a promised return.

Write down the jobs you already miss in a week, multiply by your ticket, and put that next to the floor on the pricing page. If the leak stays smaller than the floor, the spend is the wrong one.

I cannot tell you this is worth the money for a business your size. Might is the honest word once the leak is larger.

A website starts at Rs 30,000. An AI voice agent starts at Rs 25,000. Those are floors for the build, not a monthly, not a quote, and not a promise that the spend comes back.

Your week, not a promised return

A one chair salon in Rajouri Garden and a busy gym in Saket are not the same shop. The salon may miss two Saturday slots because both hands are in a colour. The gym may have a pile of 10pm DMs asking for the quarterly fee and a trial. I will not turn either week into a return I cannot see.

Use the numbers you already have.

  • How many completed jobs did you miss last week? A cut, a trial, a colour, a membership. Count only the ones you can point to, a name, a message, a call that rang out.
  • What do you charge for that job? Your ticket, not a Delhi average.
  • Multiply. That is the money the week already leaked. It is not a forecast.

Put that next to the floor. If the leak is smaller than the floor, and it stays that way most weeks, a build is the wrong spend. If the leak is larger, a build might be worth talking about. Might is the honest word. I cannot promise the next week looks like the last one.

How soon you will see money back is the same refusal with a formula. How much a website costs in Delhi is what the site floor is for.

When the cheapest useful move is not a build

For a quiet shop, the thing that actually works first is often the Google listing, not a site and not an agent. Wrong hours, an old number, a photo of a shop that moved, will lose people before any page I could build has a chance.

The cheapest thing that actually works is that list. Fix the listing. Answer the Instagram pile. Put a number someone can tap. If you cannot name a job the software would complete, do nothing that costs Rs 30,000 or Rs 25,000 until you can.

A custom site is not always needed. If last week’s phone test already passed and bookings already happen on that page, keep it. People leave after three seconds. The middle of nine clinic pages I timed: 8.8s, 2.4 MB. Sample: 1.7s, 89 KB. A salon or a gym whose page is still in that 8.8s club is losing people on the phone test. That is a reason to look at the site. It is not a reason to assume the site is worth it.

What a site can do, and what an agent can do

A site that opens can say the hours, the fees, and let someone write before the wait becomes the visit. It cannot make a quiet road busy. It cannot invent reviews. It cannot pick up the phone.

An agent can pick up while you are mid colour or on the floor. It can take a colour time, a direction to the door, a price from the list, and a booking. It says it is an assistant. Anything unusual still comes to you. It will not fill a book that nobody is asking for.

Chat, enquiries and automation start at Rs 15,000 on that same pricing page. Buy the job that is eating hours, not a stack that makes the meeting look complete.

I put the domain, the hosting, and the code in your name so you can leave. You also own the hosting bill. I will say that before I start. One person to call six days a week.

What I will not tell you

I will not tell you a shop your size always needs this. I will not tell you a more expensive build is worth more. I will not give you a payback month.

A coaching centre in admission season and a restaurant that is already full on Saturday are different weeks again. If you cannot spare an evening to count missed jobs, you do not have the input the comparison needs. Guessing a lift to make the floor look small is how people buy a page they never use.

What to do with the comparison

Do the multiply once, on last week, not on a good week from last year. If the listing is wrong, fix that first and count again. If the number is still smaller than the floor, stop. If it is larger, get in touch. Bring last week’s multiply, not a good week from last year. From that I will name a figure, or I will tell you to spend nothing.

The ones people actually ask.

Can you tell me this is worth it for my shop?

No. I cannot promise worth. Put the jobs you already miss in a week next to your ticket, then next to the floor on the pricing page. That comparison is yours.

Is it worth it for a one chair salon the same way it is for a busy gym?

No. One chair with a quiet book and a busy floor with a pile of night DMs are not the same week. The floor does not change. The missed work does.

When should I do nothing?

When the listing hours are wrong, the DMs already sit, and you cannot name a job the site or the agent would complete. The cheapest useful move may be the Google listing, not a build.

Tell NexBuilt what eats your week.

If it can be automated, NexBuilt will say so. If it cannot, you will hear that too. No proposal, no follow up sequence, just an answer.
