A NexBuilt guide · 5 September 2026
What is the cheapest thing I can do right now that actually works?
The free and near-free fixes that help a Delhi NCR shop before anyone builds software.
The cheapest thing that actually works is usually not a new website. Fix the Google listing hours, answer the Instagram pile, and put WhatsApp Business on the phone, which is a free-to-download app.
A new site is the wrong first spend if the listing still has last year’s hours, or if messages already sit until morning. I will not sell you a build to hide that.
Fix the listing before you buy a page
In the gyms in Dwarka and the restaurants in Sector 29 I sit with, a lot of people never reach a site. They start on Maps: hours, then the number. If those hours are last year’s, they walk in and walk out, or they never leave the house.
That fix costs you an evening, not Rs 30,000. Sit with the listing on your own phone.
- Today’s hours, including the day you shut.
- The number that actually rings.
- The address that matches the door, not a pin from a previous shop.
- A photo that looks like the room, not a stock dining room.
Do I need a website, or is the Google listing enough is the longer version of that choice. Why you are not showing on Google Maps is what to do when the listing is there and still invisible.
I cannot tell you how many extra tables or trials a correct listing will bring. I can tell you a wrong listing loses people before any NexBuilt page is opened.
Answer the pile you already have
The second cheap move is the messages that are already sitting. Instagram at 11pm. A form on Sunday. A WhatsApp while you are on the floor. If those sit until Monday, a new site will sit too.
You do not need software for the first pass. Open the three apps. Answer the usual questions, the fee, the timing, whether you take walk ins. Write the booking once, in one list the floor can see, so two people cannot take the same slot.
Booking automation is the later version of that inbox, Rs 15,000 on the pricing page for Instagram, the form and WhatsApp in one place, answered and chased. That floor is a build, not a monthly, not a quote. Do not buy it to avoid answering this week’s pile. Answer the pile. Then see if the pile is still the week.
A restaurant in Khan Market whose reservation line rings through service has a different cheap move, a note on the pass that the host can see, every WhatsApp and phone booking in one list. A gym whose trainer opens the app at 7am has the night DMs. Same job. Different pile.
Put WhatsApp Business on the phone
WhatsApp Business is a free-to-download app. That is the download, from the page I linked, not a claim that every device or add-on costs nothing. It is not a site. It will not open for someone who never writes. It will let you pin hours, a catalogue, and a greeting so the first reply is not a blank chat.
If people already write you there, use the app they already have. If they do not write, a second WhatsApp will not invent them.
When a site is actually the next spend
A site becomes the next spend when the listing is true, the pile is answered, and people still have no page that opens with fees, hours, and a way to book that is not another chat. People leave after three seconds. Nine clinic pages I timed: 8.8s and 2.4 MB at the middle. The sample: 1.7s and 89 KB. If your current page is in that slow club, the site is the hole. If you have no page and the listing is already doing the job, wait.
Websites start at Rs 30,000. That is a floor for a fast, mobile first site, not a quote. Usually under two weeks for a site. A custom build is not always needed. Some shops stay on the listing and WhatsApp until the phone test fails.
How much time this takes if you are not technical is the honest hours on your side. The domain, the hosting and the code go in your name when you do build. You call one person, not a ticket queue.
What I will not tell you
I will not tell you these free moves replace a site forever. I will not tell you they bring a number of customers I cannot see. I will not tell you to skip the listing because a build looks more serious.
Do the free work this week. Count what still leaks. Then get in touch if the hole is still a page that will not open, or a pile no person can finish. If the listing and the replies already hold the week, I will say so and stop bothering you.
