Should my website be in Hindi and English?

A bilingual site helps when walk-in shoppers or parents already search and speak both. It fails when nobody will keep both versions true.

A Hindi and English site helps when walk-in shoppers or parents already search and speak both. It does not help when nobody will keep both versions true.

I will not invent a translation rupee on this page. A second full card is extra scope. I will name that after I see the English.

When both languages earn their keep

A coaching centre in Rohini or Laxmi Nagar often hears the course name in English and the fee in Hindi, in the same breath. A parent who will not send a DM still wants those two facts on a page they can open. If that parent already searches in Hindi, an English-only fee table is a closed door.

A gym in Dwarka that sells a quarterly and a day pass to people who walk in from the market may need the same two facts in the words they already use. If the floor already answers in mixed speech, the page can follow.

Whether Delhi shops need a site in 2026 is the larger need question. Website or Instagram and Google covers which channel to start on. This page is only the language of the page.

Websites have a published floor of Rs 30,000 on pricing. That floor is a fast, mobile first site. A second language is not smuggled into that floor. If the same answers must live twice, I will say the job sits above the floor before I start.

When one language is enough

If strangers already find you on Maps, already call, and already book in the language you speak on the phone, a second page can wait.

If nobody on the floor will edit Hindi when the English fee changes, skip the second page. A stale Hindi fee is a fight at the desk. Last year’s batch name in Hindi is worse than no Hindi.

If the only Hindi you would publish is a machine dump of the English, skip it. A translator you will not pay, and a toggle you will not check, is a second listing with yesterday’s Sunday.

Whether the voice agent can speak Hindi is the phone card. A spoken card and a written page are two jobs. Do not buy both to make the first meeting look complete.

What a real second language actually is

The same facts. Hours. Fee. How to find the door. How to write for a slot. Written twice, by a person who can read both, or by you reading both out loud to me.

Not a plugin that claims “100 languages”. Not a flag icon that reloads the same English.

I will not invent what a professional translator charges per page. Those are their invoices. If you already have a person in the shop who can write the Hindi, we use that person. If you do not, the second language waits, or we price the extra writing as extra scope.

Google’s page on representing a business is still the listing job in one language. The listing hours must match the door. A bilingual site that disagrees with the listing is two lies.

Downsides of doing it badly

People compare the two fees and find they differ. Trust dies.

Searchers land on the language you did not keep. They bounce. I will not invent a bounce rate.

A coaching centre that translates the brand line and leaves the batch table in English has not helped the parent who needed the table.

I will not tell you Hindi pages raise admissions by a figure I made up. A page that states the fee in the words they already use can be opened. Whether they then sit with a counsellor still sits with the road, the reviews, and whether a person replies.

Write the three lines in both mouths first

Write the fee, the hours, and the next batch or trial, in the English you already use, then in the Hindi you already say on the phone. If you cannot write the second set, you are not ready for a second page.

Then get in touch. Bring both sets. I will say one language is enough, both are the job, or the leak is still the listing and the page can wait.

The ones people actually ask.

Is a machine toggle the same as a real Hindi page?

No. A toggle that dumps English through a translator is not a page you can stand behind. Fees and batch names still need a person.

Will you quote a per-page translation fee here?

No. I will not invent what a translator charges. A second full card is extra scope. I will name that after I see the English.

Do coaching centres in outer Delhi always need both languages?

No. Need both when parents already ask in both. Skip the second page when the listing and the counsellor chat already close the week.
