What does the voice agent write the booking into?

The slot lands in the diary you already open. A Google Calendar, a sheet, or the clinic software you already trust. Paper starts as one shared list.

The booking lands in the diary you already open: a Google Calendar, a sheet, or the clinic software you already trust. If the diary is paper, we start with one shared list.

I will not invent a private calendar behind the desk that nobody checks. Two diaries is how 2pm gets promised twice.

The destination is the diary you already trust

An AI voice agent takes a slot only when you have a written rule for that slot. The write has to land where the next person looks. That place is the destination.

A dental clinic in Green Park that already lives in a Google Calendar should see the new slot there. A salon in Greater Kailash that already runs the week on a sheet should see the new colour there. A desk that already uses clinic software should see the new name there.

Google’s calendar help is how people already share and open a calendar. I will not invent extra buttons that page does not list. If the floor already opens that calendar on a phone, that is a destination I can write into.

A sheet is the same idea with worse manners. One tab. One row per slot. Everyone who books can see the row. I will not dress a sheet up as software.

Clinic software you already pay for, including a Zoho calendar some desks already use, is a destination only if the desk actually opens it. I will not bolt a new brand onto a week that already has a tool.

Can a chatbot book clinic appointments is the rule test. What booking automation is is the pile across chats. This page is only where the slot is written after a call.

Voice work begins at Rs 25,000, listed on pricing. Booking work has a floor of Rs 15,000. Both are floors. The destination does not change the floor by itself. A messy diary does.

Paper diaries start as one list

If the diary is a notebook, the agent will not read the ink. We put every phone booking on one list the floor can see. Two people cannot take the same hour because they both saw the list.

The notebook can stay on the till until you trust the list. I will not throw out a book you still look at during a filling. I will not leave the book as the only copy either, because then the agent wrote into air.

This is slower than a demo that “syncs to calendar”. It is the honest path when the week still lives in a pen.

What gets written, and what does not

A first slot that matches the rule: name, number, time, the work you already named on the card.

Not a treatment plan. Not a colour correction. Not “ask Neha”. Those still come to you as a message.

Reminders and no-shows is what you may send after the write. The reminder is not the diary. Do not confuse a text with a row.

If the write fails, you still get the log from the call. The person who opens the log has to put the slot in by hand that once. I will not hide a failed write behind a calm voice.

Downsides of each destination

A Google Calendar nobody on the floor has been invited to is a locked book. Share it with the people who book, or pick another destination.

A sheet with five tabs and last year’s Holi colours is not a diary. Clean it first, or we start a new tab and you retire the old ones.

Clinic software with a login only the vendor holds is the same lock as a website you do not own. Ask who can add a slot without a ticket. If the answer is a studio in another city, that software is not ready.

Paper plus a list plus a person who still writes only in the book will double book. Software cannot read ink it was never shown.

I will not tell you a destination raises arrivals by a figure I made up. A written slot means someone can take 11am at lunch. Whether they then sit in the chair still sits with your area, your reviews, and whether you honour the hour.

Pick the one place the floor already looks

Open tomorrow’s book, calendar, or sheet. That screen is the destination. If you cannot point at one screen, you do not have a diary yet. You have a pile.

Then get in touch. Show that screen. I will say we write there, we start with one list, or the diary is too split for a machine to touch.

The ones people actually ask.

Can it write straight into Google Calendar if that is already the diary?

Yes, if that calendar is the one the floor already opens. I will not invent a second calendar the dentist never looks at.

What if the only diary is a notebook by the till?

We start with one list every phone booking lands on, so two people cannot promise the same hour. The notebook can stay until you trust the list.

Will you force us onto Zoho or a new clinic app?

No. If you already have software the desk trusts, we write there. A new app you will ignore is a second diary, and I will refuse that.
